Ball Balancing Robot

Inspired by M-O from WALLE, my teammate and I proposed a ball balacning robot for our robotics module. My teamate and I split the project into two, he would make the ears and eyes of the robot whilst I would tackle the balancing section. This robot was built with a deadline in mind, so over the course of 4 weeks I designed, built and programmed, the first working iteration of the Ball Balancing Robot. And to get to this point took several design iterations, which is portrayed in our video. At this stage the robot has a self coded controller which manages to get it to balance to certain degree (as seen in the video).
